Nail is the BALM ~ I know ;)

I have another AMAZING product I want to share with all of you: the nail balm. It is extremely nourishing for brittle nails and cracked cuticles!

https://www.ourlemongrassspa.com/forms/frm_shop_item_info.aspx?prod=B5820

I demonstrated this nail balm after the body polish and heard nothing but rave reviews from the women who tried it at my business launch party.

A little bit goes a long way so it is again so affordable as wells cost effective. The balm itself is thick, so if you order it from me in the jar, let me know and I will send you some spatulas with it. The nail balm also comes in a travel stick which is great for your purse, backpack, etc.

The product does not have a smell so I actually talked my hubby into using a little for his hands; he liked it! Essentially, both women and men could benefit from its healing properties.

Lemongrass Spa formulated the balm with horsetail oil (from a plant not a horse), olive oil, and apricot kernel oils. I recommend you put it on twice a day for more beautiful cuticles and nails in as little as 1 week!

Remember, make time, if only 10 minutes, each day to pamper yourself!

Oooo, don't forget, July Specials will end THIS FRIDAY! Don't Miss Out!

Bottoms Up Baby!

Okay, I was again going to wait to post until a few days, but I just used the Healing Elements Glide-On Stick on my son for his bottom. What a difference. The stick has no colorants and it's not messy at all! I hate getting the diaper rash cream under my nails...yuck. Well, not going to happen anymore for me.

The tube is not messy at all. It is petroleum-free balm that actually contains the soothing lavender essential oil for healing. It contains zinc-oxide to eliminate rashes and soothe itchy skin. Also, calendula and Roman Chamomile oils are added to reduce redness, inflammation, and itchy conditions.

In fact, the balm is good for the entire family to use. Great for minor burns, insect bites, scrapes, and other minor stuff. However, if you are going to use it for the family and baby, please be sure to buy another one and label it. You don't want to find yourself putting on the wrong one, lol.

Thanks!

Business Launch Party Rocked!

I have to say, I had such a fun & relaxing time with these ladies! We had a great evening getting our feet pampered, having good food and drink, and also some wonderful conversation. It was such a great business launch for me! My upline and friend, Kelly, was there to assist me. We played my newly created "Queen of the Spa" game, and gave away a lot of free spa treats. And, after the foot fetish treatment, I had more than one person tell me that this "was the best their feet had ever felt"! I actually booked 4 more parties!
You know, I have to say that I appreciate how Lemongrass Spa products are of superior quality, but not of superior price. In this economy, I am grateful I can help women pamper themselves without breaking their budgets! Ladies, seriously, check the website, you will be amazed about how much you can get for $10 or $20.
I am soooo looking forward to the future plannings of spa parties with the hostesses! Thanks for a great event!

Bug Off Bugs...DEET FREE!

I am loving the summer, but not so much the annoying buzzing of mosquitoes around my face! The evening is wonderful for my family and I to relax outside. They love it! However, because of the West Nile still in the back of my mind, I want them protected from the bites of those little pesky bloodsuckers.

I don't know about you, but I hate the thought of putting DEET on my babies or some other chemical. So, in looking for something DEET FREE and NATURAL, I found the Lemongrass Spa's BUG A BOO. It is actually "formulated with skin-softening aloe, Lemongrass essential oil, Citronella and Cedarwood. Does not contain any DEET or chemically derived insecticides. Kid-safe and environmentally friendly. (Ask your pediatrician about using on children under 12 months old.)" from http://www.ourlemongrassspa.com/1023.

I used the spray on my boys as well as myself on the evening of the 4th, and found that it worked great and didn't have that awful chemical smell! I highly recommend giving it a try! It even comes in a stick form. It is extremely affordable, and how much better than natural can you get?

Body Polish Instead of Shaving Cream

Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th! My family and I went to our annual neighborhood Fourth of July block party. It was a wonderful time to eat (waaaay to much), drink, meet the neighborhood, and watch the kids play some games. I must say there was an nice street firework show too.

I was going to wait until this Thursday to post anything on the new blog. However, I found out something about our body polish I thought was worthy of sharing. I don't know about any of you, but I despise shaving my legs. Now, don't get me wrong, I do it because I don't like harry legs. I just hate the actual task of lathering, fumbling around in the shower, and getting those lovely razor nicks!

I broke into the kit again and tried the mango body polish. It is very yummy and summery, so I thought a nice exfoliation would help me get motivated to shave. Well, since it has sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and mango butter it softens the skin and gets rid of the old skin cells on the body.

So, I took the razor and shaved my legs after rinsing the body polish off. It was wonderful not worrying about the annoying pump shave gel or cream! It worked like a dream with NO nicks. Best part of all, my legs just had an exfoliation and were soft after I shaved!

Just a little something that I was very pleased with, and the tedious task of shaving is not so bad anymore.

Have a great week!

Got My Kit & Decided to Play

I recently (actually on Monday, June 30th, 2009) decided to order the starter kit to become a consultant with Lemongrass Spa. I have to be honest, I waited a bit to sign up because I had been involved in other direct sale companies that were great companies, but did little for me in terms of income.

Well, my neighbor, Kelly, had a party and signed up. Within one month, she was number 6 on the top sales list in June!

So, I saw what she accomplished and I LOVED the in-home spa concept. On top of that, the main office of Lemongrass Spa is a hour away from me! Being local, natural, affordable, and having great quality spa products drew me in. I knew that it would be a wonderful and fun experience to host these type of parties as a business.

But, let's get back to the kit...

Ladies, let me tell you, the starter kit is AWESOME, and it even arrived in 2 days! You get tons of products that you can actually use to demo at your parties. Lemongrass definitely does not skimp on the goods.
My sons, who are 4 and 18 months, loved trying on all the different flavors of lotions! It was so cute! I also gave my hubby a Herbal Foot Fetish Treatment last night (which came in the kit) and HE LOVED IT. Just goes to show you that not only women liked being pampered at home!
I had such a great time playing and can't wait to share it with other women and men!
